Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 1, 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Aurevix platform, including our website, applications, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) offered by [Insert Legal Entity Name] (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
2. Definitions
“Service” means the Aurevix AI-powered resume generation platform, including all features, tools, websites, and applications we provide.
“User,” “you,” or “your” means any person or entity that accesses or uses the Service.
“User Content” means any information, data, text, documents, resumes, or other materials you upload, submit, or provide to the Service, including but not limited to personal information, employment history, education, skills, and uploaded files.
“Generated Content” means resumes, text, formatting, or other output produced by the Service using AI based on your User Content and your instructions.
“Subscription” means any paid plan or tier you select for access to the Service, including free trials and paid features.
“Account” means the registration and associated credentials that allow you to access the Service.
3. Membership and Account Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
The Service is intended for use by individuals seeking to create, optimize, or manage their resumes for legitimate employment or career purposes. We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts that do not meet these eligibility requirements.
4. Account Registration and Responsibility
You must register for an account to use certain features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as needed. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
We may require verification of your email or identity. Failure to maintain accurate account information or to secure your credentials may result in loss of access or termination.
5. User Content Ownership and License
You retain ownership of all User Content you submit to the Service. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your User Content to us.
By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, process, reproduce, and display your User Content solely to: (a) provide, operate, and improve the Service; (b) generate Generated Content for you; (c) comply with applicable law; and (d) enforce these Terms. This license ends when you delete your User Content or close your account, except where we must retain copies for legal or operational reasons (e.g., backup, dispute resolution, or legal hold).
You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit your User Content and to grant the license above, and that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law.
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate and optimize resumes and related content. AI-generated output may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that does not reflect your actual experience or qualifications. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of Generated Content for any particular job or employer.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all Generated Content before submitting it to employers, recruiters, or any third party. You should not rely on Generated Content without independent verification. We are not liable for any employment, reputational, or other consequences resulting from your use or submission of Generated Content.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Create, submit, or encourage fraudulent or misleading resumes, including false credentials, employment history, education, or skills.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law, including employment, privacy, or anti-discrimination laws.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the Service, except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Use the Service to train, develop, or improve competing AI models, products, or services, or to extract data or models for such purposes.
- Scrape, harvest, or use automated means to access the Service beyond normal use, or to overload or disrupt our systems.
- Share your account or credentials with others, or resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission.
- Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or harmful or offensive content.
We may suspend or terminate your access and take other action we deem appropriate if we believe you have violated these restrictions or otherwise misused the Service.
8. Subscription, Billing, and Cancellation
Recurring Billing. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) according to the plan you select. By subscribing, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your chosen payment method on each renewal date until you cancel.
Fees and Taxes. You agree to pay all fees associated with your Subscription at the then-current rates. Fees are quoted in the currency applicable to your region. You are responsible for any applicable taxes (e.g., GST, VAT, sales tax) unless we are required by law to collect them.
Non-Refundable. Fees paid are generally non-refundable, including for partial subscription periods or unused features, except where required by applicable law (e.g., consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction).
Cancellation. You may cancel your Subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access until the end of that period.
Price Changes. We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance unless you cancel before the new price takes effect.
Free Trials. We may offer free trials. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you may be charged according to the applicable plan unless otherwise stated.
9. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive conduct, or for operational or legal reasons.
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy and for backup, legal, or dispute resolution purposes.
Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.
10. Limitation of Liability
“As Is” Service. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
No Employment Guarantee. We are not responsible for whether you receive job offers, interviews, or employment. Use of the Service does not guarantee any employment or career outcome.
Liability Cap. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (or, if no fees were paid, one hundred United States dollars (USD 100)).
Exclusion of Consequential Damages. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill) arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information and User Content. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is available at [Insert URL to Privacy Policy].
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Governing Jurisdiction] (e.g., the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, or the laws of India), without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in [Insert Jurisdiction], and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts. Nothing in these Terms limits your right to seek relief in a court in your country of residence where mandatory consumer protection laws apply.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service and updating the “Last Updated” date, or by sending you an email or in-Service notice where required by law or where we deem it appropriate.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your account. For paid Subscriptions, we may require you to accept the new Terms to continue; if you do not accept, you may cancel and receive a refund for the unused portion of your current period where required by law.
14. Electronic Communications
By using the Service, you consent to receive communications from us electronically (e.g., email, in-app messages, or SMS where you have opted in). You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time via the links in our emails or your account settings; you may not opt out of transactional or legally required communications.
15. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines we publish on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Force Majeure. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, or failures of third-party services (e.g., cloud providers, payment processors, or AI APIs).
Third-Party Services. The Service may rely on or integrate with third-party services (such as payment processors, cloud infrastructure, and AI providers). Your use of those services may be subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or conduct of third-party services.
